About Us
Founded in 2019, we’ve made it our life’s mission to help Delaware families. Delaware Family Restoration Services is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering families after they’ve experienced the trauma caused by incarceration.
Our Vision
Our vision is for families to become resilient with the hope and skills needed to cope with the realities of incarceration. We want to arm communities with greater awareness about family separation, its stigma, the factors that lead to it, and the effects it has on both families and communities.

Youth Engagement & Success
We’re committed to helping children succeed. That’s why we offer services such as free academic summer camps and after-school programs, providing a safe space to have fun and learn.
Reentry Programs
Restoring families is at the core of our work. We often partner with Out Of The Ashes, LLC to help facilitate a healthy conversation and begin the healing process after incarceration.
Substance Abuse Programs
DFRS has partnered with Delaware’s Division of Substance Abuse and Mental Health to help fight back against SUD/OUD in our state.
